When God created man God gave man the privilege to enter in to the relationship with Him(Gen 1:26-27, 3:8-9, Rom 8:29,Rev21:3).
This relationship was broken, he was separated from God. Sin separated the sinful man from Holy God(Gen 3:8,Rom 5:12).
Man tried to mend his broken relationship with God through Good works, Education, and religion.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God(Rom 3:23).
A man is not justified by the works of the Law(Gal 2:16)
All our righteousness are as filthy rags (Is 64:6).
For the wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23)
Judgment is Sure, and as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this thejudgment (Heb 9:27)
God is Holy (Psalms 99:9)
No hope and can’t do anything
Glad tidings from God himself-Praise the Lord-God Loves Him (1 John 4:19)
He does not want man to perish (2 Pet 3:9)
Clearly it was God’s desire and plan to establish a relationship between human beings and Him self
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
(1 John 4 :9)
God the father gave His only begotten son –Jesus Christ-( 1 Cor 5:34)
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners (1Timothy 1:15)
He died for our sins
He was buried (1 Cor 15:3-4)
He rose again
He is the way
The truth ( John 14:6)
And the Life
We cannot do anything to earn our salvation. God saves us by His grace through faith in Christ. Ephesians 2:8-10
We are saved through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus. Romans 10:9-10
